fukk are you talking about? They were not in abundance like they are now clown.. and you didnt camp out a decade ago. Thats straight lies. The retro craze was not popping like that back then. Dont lie to kick it nygga.
Fukk I look like lying on the Internet to some dork about shoes:stopitslime:

nikkas been lining up for retro j's since you was in 5th grade. Just because you didn't hear rappers bragging about designer kicks don't mean they wasn't around.

seems like the body of the article (not your headline) says Fif's wack ass shoes sold for $20 to soccer dads while Ye's joints sell for thousands and bring prestige to his name :sas2: I wonder which is better

I'd prefer whichever pays more, personally

Look at this clown..........He really believes the bullshyt he types :russ:

Money is money to a corporation, looking down on poor people is what's hot now?

Facts are facts, up until this point Kanye hasn't had near the impact on the fashion industry he or his stans claim.

But i'm talking to a nikka who bought Game's Hurricane sneakers.....
High End Fashion houses don't sell thousands of items like Michael Kors. Does that mean high end fashion houses don't have impact?

Ye might have never sold more than a few thousand Louis V's...but best believe those are a testament to creative vision than anything 50 made.

Cool, but Kanye's got plenty of money already.

Influence and selling alot aren't the same thing. He's obviously into the bigger picture.

50 Cent made alot of money on sneakers. Kanye changed the sneaker game. There's a difference. That's why you see 1,000 Yeezy knockoffs and nobody remembers G-Unit sneakers.

Now people claiming camping out just started in the past few years:mjlol:

I remember vividly people camping out for the laser 4s and altitude 13s in 05. Hell it was a bloodbath in NYC when those pigeon dunks dropped the same year. Seriously how old are some of y'all?

I remember clearly walking in a store at least 08 and no lines.. NONE

ya'll must was living in hick towns. plus the availability was much more than it is now.

Wasnt no resale game.. nothing.. both y'all nyggas can stfu. for real

No one Is refuting the resale aspect of the shoe game now and it being the driving force why kicks are so popular but you sitting up here denying that people were camping out makes you sound young and uninformed when we both telling you we witnessed the shyt with our own eyes. And your excuse is we must have been living in small hick towns...Houston and NY all my life so you can drop that lame excuse.
Hell I'll even agree to a point that it was much easier to grab shoes back in the day and most releases you could walk right in on the afternoon of release day and scoop them up no problem but there were releases where you had to camp to get them, but lets attribute the popularity that of today to technology and not one person.

I'm just talking about myself. Personally I think worrying this much about shoes is kinda gay
