Nets have the dumbest roster in the league

They have a treasure trove of pieces at perfect salary #’s that contenders would overpay for. They have a potential all star but he’s 25, on insane discount that contenders would and already tried to pay for

If I were BK I woulda

1) took the scoot and simons deal for bridges

2) trade Nic calxton yes trade nic Claxton he’s the prototype overrated big that everyone loves bc he’s a dirty work player. But he serve no purpose on a rebuilding squad. Also, Claxton for 8m is :salute: Claxton after this year warranting 100m :scust:

I’d rather pay ayton who has a much higher ceiling. Also Claxton has 1 cost controlled year in a meaningless season, then will get a 4 year deal. So you’re bound to him for 5 years. With Ayton it’s only 3.

Nets get: Ayton, future 1st
Phoenix gets: Claxton, DFS, Royce Oneale

Scoot-Simons-Joe Harris-cam Johnson- Ayton…6th man: Cam

Team might actually fukk around be good right away. Surround Scoot with shooters to hide his 1 weakness.

I agree I would have shipped bridges for that package. The question is are we sure it was really offered? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was simons and 23.

The Suns don’t have control of their first until like 2030.

Phoenix doesn't have any more future picks to give. Not even swaps. Besides, why weaken Phoenix's picks by making Phoenix better?

The team you assembled gets ravaged defensively. That Nets team is destined for Cam Thomas and Ayton to bytch at each other about touches.

What's the difference between your Nets team and the Bulls?

No. I believe that they probably offered 3 and Simons in some sort of package and I believe Brooklyn said no, either because they think they can do better or because they love Bridges that much.

If the Nets had all their picks, sure. The Nets can't afford to trade Bridges because the winner in any Bridges trade is Houston.

Fans and analtyics babies every time a tea makes a trade. ‘Bu bu bu but what about the defense’ man, fukk defense :heh: As Denver just showed you can fix that not with players but with philosophy and coaching. First and foremost you amass as many hoopers as possible, you can figure out defense later.

I didn't bring up analytics. That team is ass and when you have a bunch of "but nah he a bucket" ass dudes, there ain't enough buckets to go around. That team isn't a play-in team unless Scoot becomes rookie year Tyreke Evans. If the goal is just amass good players, Bridges will always be a reliable key to get you that during any trade window.

Ayton is part of that group of guys whose value is low not just because don't like their games. People don't like THEM. They already have Ben Simmons who isn't respected as a player AND as a man. Ayton would just be another one and those guys are harder to move now. I can't sell jerseys and hope on a guy who everyone thinks is a punk ass bytch who only cares about the check clearing every couple of weeks. If and when things go south, the guy who is gonna get shytted on all the time is Ayton.

None of that is true lol

Nets owner said NBA players are "difficult to manage". If you ever got enough money to own a team and had nikkas like Harden, Kyrie, KD all at the same time on it, tell me you'd disagree lol. Especially paying out 100 million+ to one of them that's gonna sit on the bench or at home injured, piss cacs off and do damage to the team, refuse to be available for a title run, ran off a star player, and do everything else but play basketball

Didn't even mention the penthouses bought for those nikkas hoes so they can stay near the games and inviting porn stars to the skybox so they can get pregnant by Blake Griffin

They want star players, which is why they'll get Lillard if he doesn't demand Miami only. They just want stars that act like they've got sense and..you know....play basketball

Here's the inherent problem: how many needle movers are there?

The Nets just don't wanna give up the next the Tatum and Brown to Houston.

Maybe 4 or 5 and that might be stretching it

As far as the Nets not wanting to give up the next Tatum or Brown that was prior ownership I doubt Tsai gives a sh1t

He just doesn’t want to totally tear it down he wants to try to sell some playoff seats

Tsai was there during the summer when Tatum got drafted.

He can't go through a rebuild because he can't afford to. He's fine being where he is as long as the players don't drive him nuts.

The problem is they are more then likely still gonna be a lottery team

When Durant was traded there record wasn’t good
