Same can be said about Illinois and Georgia..... Outside of Chicago or Atl could niccas really rock with Edwardsville, Ill or Macon, Georgia like that?

Most people that come to the Triad and Charlotte are really pleasantly surprised how it really it. Hell living in Charlotte it now to the point where on a day by day bases you meet more people from out of the state here than native Charlotte people

And I'm not even gonna bring up our NY problem down here.

Macon, Savannah, Augusta, Columbus all got majority Black populations just like Atlanta, Black folks in GA have our own community and economy, the whole state, not just Atlanta. Black people in GA don't go thru what nikkas in NC go thru. North Carolina is for Cacs, this place is the most low key racist place ever. You got Black dudes still getting hung by white folks in the rural parts of NC and then in cities like Charlotte you got people like Officer Holzhauer on CMPD who can get away with killing 2 un armed Black people in 3 totally separate incidents and still not only keep his job, but still be allowed to patrol the same areas where he murdered people. Charlotte police low key kill more un armed Black people than places like Cleveland and Ferguson that get all the press. It's just that nikkas up here dont stand up and fight for anything, so you don't hear about it nationally. NC is the land of the complacent and happy Negro, despite the fact that whitey shows his ass at every turn.

Excellent thread. I moved out of Greensboro a few weeks ago. Loved the area and I'm gonna miss the hell out of it. Dame's was a great spot. Never went to the sweet shop (not a fan of sweets) but a lot of people I knew in the area loved it. Recently found out about The Big Burger Spot. Some of the best burgers I've had. Traffic isn't bad and the people are cool.

I travel back to NYC every now and then for business and it just reminds me how good of a decsion I made

For me the only thing NYC has on NC is the culture....

The food here is horrible. Str8 up. List some the places you go where you claim the food is good. I ate out every night back home and when I came here I tried the same demo but the restaurants here are garbage. I literally had to take a cooking class because I got tired of wasting money at spots where the food was dead so I figured might as well finally learn how to cook.

The pace is hella slow and I'm from another city in the south. Not like I'm from NY or the Chi saying this. This city is dead after 11 pm.

The economy is horrible for Black folks. There is 0 hustle here. The only nikkas making money are people working for the banks, and most nikkas here don't even do that. I see way more Indians in uptown walking in and out the buildings than I do Black people.

The people here are boring as fukk. And once again I'm from the south saying this. How are you from NYC saying the people here are cool and the food is good? Are you really from NYC?

Most of the spots you listed is average at best but the fukked up thing is they all over priced tho. Block & Grinder aint shyt as far as burger boutique spots go and they still got the nerve to tax like they do. Bruh I been to most of the spots you listed and probably every spot in the Uptown or Morehead area cuz I stay around there and they are all dead. Just went to Nikkos on South Blvd the other day after my neighbor told me it was good and it wasn't even close patna. It's not like the spots are cheap and they still suck, they out her taxing and the product is sorry. Not even about to get into the wack service you get.

And yeah I do have a personal problem with Charlotte. To keep that shyt a buck I got gassed up about this place by other people and moved here thinking it was going to be some shyt that I quickly realized it wasn't. And some 9-5 folks eating here on some middle management type shyt, but nikkas ain't owning shyt or running a damn thing round this bytch patna. nikkas like you acting like its all good for Black folks here and its really not. And yall nikkas boosting up Charlotte need to tell the whole story, this place ok of you a corporate drone with a family who goes to church every Sunday and is in bed by 10 pm and is cool seeing whitey with his foot on yo ass, but if you anything but that type of person you will hate this place.

These NC nikkas running around pumping shyt up but they ain't saying shyt about how it's a white boy walking around right now in a police uniform that has murked 2 unarmed people and tried to kill another one, and how every other week here a cop is killing somebody. Or how the hotel's here charge Black people an extra sur charge on they bills just cuz they Black. I'm not making none of this shyt up either.
