I'm from Spartanburg, SC but I do plan on moving to NC someday once everything is together. Most likely Charlotte. Great thing about being here in Spartanburg is that Clt is less than an hour away from here.

The whole ENC is two hours from 95@Bryan Danielson This thread is old as hell lol. Anyway I wouldn't mind living in NC if it was Charlotte and maybe Raleigh.
If I ever move to the south my top choices are Richmond, Charlotte, Atlanta and Raleigh. I wouldn't want to live in a rural area though, the culture shock would be too extreme after living in NY.
Richmond VA is my top choice, close enough to DC for a day trip, seems like a nice city on the low
Overall I'd like to stay in the Tri State Area somehow, but if that wasn't possible those would be my top choices.
When I made that post I went to Raleigh (To visit family) and Wilmington....at how far out Wilmington is, its like two hours from I-95
Also I didn't get to go into the city/triangle part of Raleigh, would have bugged me out seeing NC being so urban after only to Rocky Mount prior to that.
