I travel back to NYC every now and then for business and it just reminds me how good of a decsion I made
For me the only thing NYC has on NC is the culture....
@Bryan Danielson This thread is old as hell lol. Anyway I wouldn't mind living in NC if it was Charlotte and maybe Raleigh.
If I ever move to the south my top choices are Richmond, Charlotte, Atlanta and Raleigh. I wouldn't want to live in a rural area though, the culture shock would be too extreme after living in NY.
Richmond VA is my top choice, close enough to DC for a day trip, seems like a nice city on the low
Overall I'd like to stay in the Tri State Area somehow, but if that wasn't possible those would be my top choices.
When I made that post I went to Raleigh (To visit family) and Wilmington.... at how far out Wilmington is, its like two hours from I-95
Also I didn't get to go into the city/triangle part of Raleigh, would have bugged me out seeing NC being so urban after only to Rocky Mount prior to that.
Both sides of my family are from Greenville/Pitt County.
ECU is growing.
lol. They love ECU around there. I was at my Uncle's when they beat the Tarheels in football last year. They was going crazy.Went to Greenville once....every damn building was purple and yellow

Don't know why so many people try to hate on NC on the coli. Was born in this state and still here now. There are a lot of great cities in NC.
