Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy vs. Marvel Studios' Captain America trilogy

This is tough
For watch-ability and just based on overall plot, I enjoyed batman more. But to me, it's the type of movie I can put on any day and just let play without really paying attention
On the other hand, if I want to be entertained, captain American takes it. Not that those were dumb movies in anyway, but tremendouslymore entertaining than batman. And the fight scenes throughout cap has to be the best of any film franchise to date. When winter soldier did that knife flip literally almost died in the theatre.
TDKR kind of a stupid movie, but basically as it goes, bane and joker are more interesting villains than any in mcu movies.
My vote goes to nolan for making a more cerebral film franchise

Never understood the first avenger hate. That and the first iron man is some of the best storytelling marvel has done.

I still think TDK is the best superhero trilogy, however, that's only because comparatively, the Cap trilogy did not focus enough on Steve/Cap, his inner thoughts, and overall character arc and development like Nolan did with Bruce/Batman. But I love both still, but for very different reasons.

He's not talking about the first Avengers movie. He's talking about Captain America: The First Avenger. And it is very underrated.
Capt had Spider-GOAT in it so it wins by default.
plus, batfleck and Leto fixin to wash nolan's movies anyway and give us true batman movies, not alternative and loose interpretations.

Captain America trilogy for me. I knew basically nothing about Captain America before seeing The Winter Solider. it was so good, it got me to go back and watch all of the marvel movies starting with Iron man 1 and so forth.
I recently rewatched all 3 of the Captain America movies and they are all really good.

Meanwhile to this day people still rattle off joker and bane quotes daily.
