It's just very low key but it's so good.

Dudes in here are trippin in here saying first avenger is on par with batman begins.

I really love winter soldier and civil war but we all know civil war is hardly a cap movie. Or its at least arguable #avengers2.5

I'll say it again but the first hour of The First Avenger is the best storytelling in the MCU. The rest of the movie? Not so, although 'I had a date' is the best line in all six movies we're debating here.

Dark Knight is the best but id take the Cap movies over the rest.

Villains are better in TDK, but I like Evans as Rogers/Cap more than bale as Wayne/Bats

Action is better in the cap movies and they're just overall more fun and enjoyable while still having gravity

Luckily I already cashed my lastest check from Disney so they can't punish me for this but I've always maintained that the Nolan trilogy is the pinnacle. The alpha and omega. The dark knight rises has its mis steps but most are only truly noticeable because it was coming off the heels of the GOAT comic movie.

With that said I still haven't got a chance to see CA CW :whoa: but hopefully can this week. Still doubtful it will be great enough to surpass what Nolan was able to do.

up until he puts on the suit, it's a great movie. not so much the stuff with red skull but everything else on steve's end is terrific. once it becomes an actual superhero movie though it falls apart.

same thing with iron man. once he becomes iron man, the movie loses so much steam.

wow now that i think about it, same with superman the movie. origin is perfect, even the introduction of superman is perfect, but once we are introduced to lex luthor and it becomes a good guy vs bad guy movie it turns to shyt.

i'm having a tough time coming up with an origin story movie that is thorough the whole way through. :patrice:

Man this is tough. BUT
Dark Knight is not only the GOAT comic film, it's also one of the greatest films ever made. Period. Batman Begins was bananas, damn near as good as DK. Rises wasn't bad, I just thought it could have been better. It's still better than the 1st Captain America, not by much though. Here is my rank.

DK
Civil War
BB
Winter Soldier
Rises
1st Captain America film.
