Journalists from The Athletic spoke to 108 players, including players from all 30 teams, for this year's NBA player's poll.

The Athletic surveyed 103 NBA players, 58.3 percent of whom said Jordan would top their overall rankings. LeBron James was second with 33 percent of the vote, while Kobe Bryant came in at 6.8 percent.
Jordan and James are, by nearly any measure, the two greatest players in NBA history. The player who has the best resume for being the third in that conversation, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, did not receive a single vote. Bill Russell and Tracy McGrady were the only other two players to receive mention.
Among NBA players, LeBron is closer to Jordan than Kobe is to either one.

It’s weird how Kobe stans try to insert themselves into discussions they aren’t involved in. This jobless fakkit @10bandz tryna sneak in that players feared MJ AND Kobe when no one brought Kobe up. Most of today’s players didn’t play against pre-Achilles tear Kobe. I said former players.
Where the fukk do you think they got their opinions about Kobe from? Even the ones who didn't play against him have teammates and coaches who did. You somehow think that you know more about the opinions of former NBA players who played against Kobe than their own teammates do?
