mane @wildself i remember a few years ago you kept telling people to stop hyping up this STEM culture ...that it was more cons than pros to this hyped up field

and unfortuantly YOU WERE RIGHT

i had jumped on that STEM CULTURE bandwagon as well a few years back even influenced my home purchasing decision

the main reason i moved out to where i'm currently am is because the high school i wanted my son to end in another year is a S.T.E.M academy with strong ties to the industry

and the community as well is on the cutting edge of being a very high tech soon....

but boy oh boy you wasn't lying ..i work in this community as well....and since my firm got acquired by an Indian parent company

i done seen it all....from the dysfunctional I.T guy they hired from a TEMP AGENCY

to the pack of indian industrial engineers they got for the LOW all staying on work visa cohabitating at a extended stay hotel up the road from me ....

working on multimillion dollar projects in the energy field .......every week we have workplace injury and every month we have a failed unit or project delayed

and all this can be traced back to these cheap azz non regulated punjabi mofos who for cheap pay...

Boeing owns 43-45% of the GLOBAL commercial airline industry..

This. Boeing and Airbus are pretty much it as far as the aerospace sectors are concerned. Outsourcing to India is something that many companies do. Boeing messed up by outsourcing critical coding projects to India when the country lacked the industry context to complete the task. If it where general "grunt" work then that'd be a different story.
