Major in STEM, they said :pacspit:

Make a "living wage" they said :stopitslime:

How can a legit engineer, anywhere around this planet, get paid $9 an hour?
Exactly, I work with Indians in IT and the cheap ones will never be any good. You basically getting inexperienced hires at that rate. They might as well be interns.

Even the decent paid ones aren't always up to snuff and you gotta coach them up.

What's crazy is American companies wouldn't touch Americans with this level of skill but would hire a team of Indians on a much lower level

I fukking said it before

these cheap ass muthafukkas keep outsourcing all their shyt for cheap labor to garbage ass India and wonder why they having issues and shyttier products instead of actually PAYING their techs here for quality work

Now they're completely under

Suntrust Bank tried that shyt like 10-15 years ago and QUICKLY realized how stupid that was and tried to rehire all their main IT staff after letting them go to outsource to India.

When I was working for this OTC NOC center, I saw many companies doing that shyt. We were outsourced for desktop and sometimes Helpdesk support but then you would have to collaborate with these companies that outsourced their shyt to India and It was the dumbest most frustrating shyt to deal with.
It's like anything, skilled workers anywhere cost money. American companies with shyt to lose generally know this.

if Im not mistaken its illegal to do this. Boeing got caught up doing this in Russia before the Bush admin, and Bush put a stop to that because blueprints and hackers were cracking their mainframe system and getting copies of military projects. I dont think this is legal at all. If this is true, the feds will be knocking.

So basically, an American company outsourced jobs overseas for dirt cheap labor & as a result, their malfunctioning planes crashed & resulted in 100s of deaths due to the inadequacy of overseas, under paid workers. You can’t even make this ish up. I hope the company bankrupts & dissolves.

Yep but politicians spin this automation bull shyt.

I done told folks on here 100 times that it ain't automation that is killing jobs here in america....its OUT SOURCING for lower labor rates.

Thats not how this works. Bankrupts and dissolves, dumbass nikkas :snoop:

Boeing owns 43-45% of the GLOBAL commercial airline industry..

They also have defense contracts for delivering the F15 and fa18

There is a 43% that you will fly a boeing unless you are on of those incell nikkas who dont leave the basement.

Boeing aint going nowhere:skip:

Yep its all in the chase for a higher profits and to boost stock prices. Boeing stocks in the last 2 years nearly trippled in price (I know because I have boeing stock and damn near trippled my investment from 2017 to 2019).

And unlike Lockheed and other large defense companies they are broken up by like 60% commercial and 40% defense. So they eat in good or bad economies. Plus they have eaten good off this administration since Trump folks got ties to Boeing.

Like you said Boeing ain't going no where.

Luckily for Boing, it was mostly brown people getting killed. Had this happened in the US or Europe, they would be bancrupt already.

One more thing OP this is a 2 part issue. One Boeing engineers state side caught the program issue. But to save money Boeing took their time to update the software.

The FAA due to the shut down and cut backs of the clown trump administration agreed that the upgrades could be delayed. The certification standards that the FAA has are more lenient for planes that are derivative platforms. Meaning that since the 737 is an upgrade of a previous platform the FAA gave Boeing credit on safety certifications for the plane.

So it was an overall fukk up on everyones parts.

In the end it doesn't matter cause this administration won't do shyt to boeing. Trump literally placed a Boeing exec as the Pentagon's secretary of defense Patrick Shanahan (who just stepped down last week due to spousal abuse allegations). Boeing has huge connections to this administration which is a hat tip to the explosion of the stock since 2016.

Gotta love capitalism / wallstreet / american greed:russ::mjlol:

This is NOT funny

This is Scary.... Lives are being put in danger with all this downsizing and outsourcing of work happening across the boards

I recently chastised a supervisor for sending a uncertified haz mat guy to work in our lab...

Man it was some dangerous situation be had placed this young man in...

And not only that if OSHA (fed agency) was to pop up at this worksite and check the records of my employees and found out I had a uncertified employee THAT WOULD BE MY HEAD ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK

Same thing happened with an airport in the UK - allegedly.

British Airways IT meltdown: Staff union blames outsourcing to India as flight disruption continues

"London: More than a third of British Airways (BA) flights from London's Heathrow Airport have been cancelled, leaving thousands of passengers stranded for the second day today following a major global computer failure for which a workers' union blamed outsourcing to India."

Thousands of passengers had their travel plans disrupted as a result of the problem, with one workers union blaming the outsourcing of IT jobs to India for the chaos, a claim denied by the airline.

"We would never compromise the integrity and security of our IT systems," BA said in reference to GMB union's claim.

BA chief executive Alex Cruz had said it was believed "the root cause [of the computer problems] was a power supply issue".
