There's training to stay fit, and then there's training for a fight. It's two entirely different things.
wouldn't being important enough to shut a PPV down be a step towards that?

I watch MMA, but i'm definitely not a head.. I couldn't give two shyts about the politics behind Jones and his choice to not fight...but everyone else here is like Yayyyyy a black man made a power move that caused a ppv to have to be cancelled... GO US

meanwhile as a UFC fan I miss out on entire an PPV, because one fighter cant take 1 for the team..How dare Dana ask one of his fighters for help.. I guess that makes him a slave master right?? I would have enjoyed watching Sonnen get his ass kicked around the ring again, but I guess everyone here has morals all of a sudden.. I wonder how much money UFC lost over this

Honestly breh...that card was asscheeks. Jones/Hendo still wouldnt have made for a good card. Also, Dana cancelled the card, not Jones. He's the president, hes the shot caller. I dont wanna hear no blame on Jones because hes only the fighter, Dana coulda done something other than cancel. Does it suck for the guys that were on that card? Absolutely. But Dana and Joe Silva should have prepared better. Injuries do happen.
They probably lost most of the money on the gate(attendence) i doubt this PPV was gonna do big numbers anyway...
Boxing promotion and MMA promotion are two totally different animals. UFC has a deathgrip on MMA in America....Bellator is making some decent moves though.

They have managers etc, but are signed to Zuffa, which is the UFC and Strikeforce's parent company.
