Honestly, I don't like these cinematic matches at all. I understand a lot of people like them & they're going to keep pumping them out, so I'm pretty much at a point where I pick & choose what I watch with wrestling now. Today's wrestling product is passing me by.

I've stopped watching WWE altogether and only really watch AEW Dynamite now :ld:

Like I said in the OP, I think that's why WWE and now AEW have putting them at the end of the show. Put it in the middle of the show it might kill the vibe of the whole show, put at the end and it gives the people not feeling it the chance to dip out.

I do tune out or have it on in the background for a lot of the Inner Circle vs Elite stuff :ehh:

His detractors can't ignore that the fans are changing the channel and not coming back. My circle of friends are all former WWE/WCW diehards and we can reminisce about the Monday night wars for hours now no one but me watches that shyt, and i get laughed at. It has become an inside joke to a small group of people and that thinking has low key killed the business.

But yet when they come to town those fans will be the first one talking about coppin tickets for someone. Or will have a full Review of mania the next time you see them....lol the reasons the biz died is that the E have not allowed themselves to create a real star. There's too many shows and there too long asking anyone to watch 6-10hrs of wrestling is a lot to ask of a casual fan.

When live crowds are back, having cinematic matches on television or a PPV is not going to go over well at all with people in the crowds. They'd have to move it to either the network, Youtube, etc.

The cognitive dissonance of constantly complaining about people exposing the business in a way that exposes the business more than what he complains about for the past 20 years must be a real internal conflict that's driving him insane.

The problem with SS was that it didn't go nearly far enough with nonsense fukkery. It needed way more Final Deletion fukkery, imo. 80% of it was standard brawling with 20% of spots taking advantage of the creative freedom afforded to them.

I'm black and my friends are also and they stopped completely. AEW is based in my city and wrestlemania was a 2 hour drive away only a certain particular group is patronizing these events. Jim is right

This

Like I said before jim has good points
And what you just mention is the same with dudes I worked with and chilled wit in the past

They would always clown wrestling

Calling it fake and shyt

I mean aew has some good stuff
But the silly shyt is not gonna bring people back or new viewers
