Just finishes Attack of the Clones.
I've seen this ranked as the worst which I completely disagree. Back when I was a prequel hater this was the one prequel film that I actually liked.
The problems I have with it now are
C3PO's little comedy bit
Shot in digital before 4k+ cameras so 1080p is the highest we'll get
CGI really sticks out. I don't know if they can re-do the cgi to make it not stand out as much

@2 Up 2 Down what do you think? Can non forces sensitives artificially strengthen their midichlorians and connection to the Force? :patrice:

:patrice: hard to disagree with his breakdown. Never thought about people in the star wars universe having midi-chlorians instead of mitochondria.
Maybe through training one could increase their midichlorian count but even in 800 years Yoda's count was lower than slave Anakin, so either you can't or it increases at a very very slow rate.

I say you cant increase your midichlorian count. You can train to maximize your force given talent. But that potential is capped to whatever your midichlorian count is.

If my midicholrian count is X and yours is 5x. I can train my ass off 100 x more than yours, but Ill never reach your power of the force if you train just a little bit.

I agree, midichlorian counts representing potential seems to be the best explanation. Although what about other ways to strengthen force sensitivity? Say someone like Plagueis or just any scientist in the SW galaxy found a way to increase an individuals midichlorian count via some sort of experiment. This doesn't appear to have ever happened yet, but it seems plausible.

This is why I hate the whole concept of midichlorians and a tangible way to measure The Force. I like The Force way more as something that can't be measured and just is...

Speaking of scientific ways to increase the count - why not do some Jedi blood doping. Take some Jedi blood, isolate the medichlorians and give it to someone else?

Damn, this was a super nerdy post. :troll:

The Force itself is still unmeasurable its just that midichlorians helps understand why some are more naturally attuned than others.

:patrice: it'll be nice to see her back, and maybe some new Nightsisters too

Would really like to see them in a live action film, though. Imagine them in Ep 7 instead of Snoke and Ren :wow:. Knights of Ren better come with it.

Actually Plagueis did do exactly that. He increased his own midichlorian count.

Judging from his novel and from his entry in the Book of Sith, if Palpatine hadn't killed him Plagueis would have eventually become some sort of immortal Force god, able to prolong his life indefinitely and use the Force to accomplish anything.

:dwillhuh:

Im dying to know how Ezra's story ends up. He's clearly powerful as hell. How does become completely out of the picture by A New Hope? How does one that strong just disappear? Vader is the only one that could defeat him. Or does the Emperor turn him? :patrice:

It's wild that Im just as invested in a cartoon as I am in the movie franchise.

I feel like he's going to end up a truly grey force user, especially if the product of those holocrons merging is a Revan-like being. Obviously he can't end up a Jedi who lives given Yoda's words in ESB but I just don't see him going dark.

Maybe he kills Maul and departs for the Unknown Regions in search of other artifacts of the Force? Or he stays with the Rebellion and dies in a heroic way in some act prior to R1?

Maybe he ends up encased in carbonite :skip:
