I like the pick and it was the one position that our defense needed and lacked. It has finally been address. Football casuals not going to like the pick, but the hell with them.

Fortifying the defense was the right move. We can grab a solid TE in the second or third round. We've stacked the offense for years and didn't get anything out of it. Might as well try to build an elite defense.

We took a defensive tackle... in the first round... my faith that this front office can actually deliver a super bowl in the near future is actually being restored. We have needed a run stopper for a fukking DECADE now and have NEVER addressed it until now. Look at all of our playoff losses we lose because we can't stop the fukking run at all. We needed this. Sign a quality safety in free agency and go win us a fukking Super Bowl already.

As long as he gives us a presence and toughness inside so we stop being absolutely terry cloth in the middle, I’m okay with the pick.
He doesn’t need to be Warren Sapp or Fletcher Cox. Just be an above average interior DL and it’s a fine selection.
