We took a defensive tackle... in the first round... my faith that this front office can actually deliver a super bowl in the near future is actually being restored. We have needed a run stopper for a fukking DECADE now and have NEVER addressed it until now. Look at all of our playoff losses we lose because we can't stop the fukking run at all. We needed this. Sign a quality safety in free agency and go win us a fukking Super Bowl already.

If this front office was serious about winning a SB they wouldn’t restructure c00ns and tolerate c00nery.

I been sick as hell last two days..couldnt even stay up to see us pick. I like this pick. Its plenty of RB's. I think we need OL depth.

Mazi was rated 14th out of the Top 20 on Dallas' board. All the stories about TE was probably McClay/Stephen Jones working the local media....which spread to national media.

KC was apparently trying to trade up which is why it took Dallas so long to make the pick. Everyone thought TE and KC figured Mazi would slide to them. Dallas probably grabs OL/TE if KC offered enough to give up Mazi but they didn't.

Buffalo got antsy and jumped us for Kincaid but Dallas actually wanted LaPorta if they were gonna take a TE (speed maybe).

Dallas obviously takes Jahmyr, Carter, Bijan etc , if they fell but those guys didn't fall.

Cowboys have a strong secondary and a solid pass rush but have consistently struggled against teams that insist on running it down their throats. Mazi is a true big dawg in the middle that can get some push and occupy blocks. He's high motor so effort is not an issue....just needs good coaching and DQ is great at that. Dak is still Dak but even with a better QB, we'd still struggle if teams can just run it up the gut for 4 or 5 yds a pop.

Everyone in here universally came to one accord that we need a DT to plug the line and stop the run. Our recent playoff losses come because we can't stop the run, especially that Rams playoff game a few years back they put up a playoff record rushing yards on us, shyt was embarrassing.

When you know you need something everyone gonna have to get on board with it. We don't need more TE's or pass rushers.
