they have a deal in play. If those movie studios do not make a movie with there characters in a certain amount of time( I think it varies with each of them) then the rights go back to marvel.
Yeah thats literally how the original piece of shyt fantastic four movie got made. That's how it works in general. However, it never actually works out.
I'll give you an example. You ever seen the horror movie "Hellraiser"? In the early 80's Clive Barker sold the cinematic rights to his novella "The Hellbound Heart". The first adaptation was the first "Hellraiser" movie.
Since then there have been eight movies that Clive Barker had nothing to do with. He's wanted the rights back, but they keep making movies solely to keep the rights from him. In 2011 they filmed a new movie in weeks and released it to one theater just to say they were still using the rights.
So, long story short, Marvel will probably never get those rights back unless they pay for them.
Fred.
Words cannot describe how garbage every avengers animated series is...as weak as the later Xmen are they are still better than the avengers stuff. And spiderman has had multiple animated shows better than all of the avengers, compiled and seperate.Always hated the X-Men and Fantastic 4. I'm older than some of yall, so I grew up more on Spidey and Hulk. They had a cool set of video games in the 90s, but I thought there was too much simpin on that show and thought the DC dudes would whoop their asses. Its like the X-Men has always tried to be a soap. I like the Avengers for some reason though Much more all-out superheroes. Not to mention I definitely like the more cosmic side of Marvel so GotG I should love. Wish they did a standalone Silver Surfer too. That stuff is far more fascinating than the X-Men stuff.
Now your just letting your bias show. Avengers EMH was better received than the 90's X-Men showWords cannot describe how garbage every avengers animated series is...as weak as the later Xmen are they are still better than the avengers stuff. Its a borderline fact that The four core avengers are not strong enough together to move units so they (in print) add spiderman and the X-men around them to sell copies. And Spiderman is a proven box office draw that is a lock for 700MM each release and probably going to hit 900MM for the next one.
“Everyone grew up knowing Captain America or the Hulk, but not X-Men characters—I didn’t even know who Wolverine was,” Singer says. “I call X-Men the b*stard stepchild of the comic universes.”
this thread made me think about how spidey is a clique hopper, breh been part of everything from the avengers to x-men to fantastic four to team venom to horsemen of apocalypse to weapon x google it if u think im lying this nikka signed to like 8 labels got more hands in his pockets than bow wow cash money contract
Nah its more like he's the hottest MC in the game and they beg him to feature on all of their albums cause they ain't movin units. He ain't signed to nobody, he's just going on tour and they bring him on stage and he gets the check
so you saying these heroes get that spidey stimulus check huh, ghost writer for ghost writers for the right price make your one-shot tighter?
spiderman looking like wayne in 08 hoppin on everybodies shyt
Lol. Damn. Also want there another thread priving that Marvel cinimatic Universe is the moat successful franchise ever? It's funny that this thread exists. Just got through reading an interview with a Bryan Singer who said the X-Men are Marvel's red-headed step children.
