The only knock I had on him was he played out of control at times and his jumper was ass
He fixed both of those areas it seems, one of the best young guards in the league right now

Kentucky guards drafted in round 1 since 2015 :unimpressed:
Devin Booker at 13
Jamal Murray at 7
De’Aaron Fox at 5
Malik Monk at 11
Shai Gilgeous Alexander at 11
Tyler Herro at 13
Tyrese Maxey at 21
Immanuel Quickley at 25

Outside of Monk who had a solid year for himself last season all have proven to be excellent picks :wow:

I want him on the Nets, he’s special man :wow: He’s even better off the ball at his natural SG position. That fukk nikka Harden better keep feeding him
Harden's helped him a lot. Moving to SG thanks to Harden has helped him, and Harden finds him a ton on 3s, in transition, and for opportunities to attack closeouts. James is in his ear a lot too to be more aggressive.

Harden's scorings been way down, but his distributing and leadership to push guys to be better and play the way they should be has been great. He's pushed Maxey to be more aggressive and willing to shoot(Maxey is also taking more stepbacks since Harden arrived), he pushed Tobias to be more willing to catch-and-shoot and be a quick decision maker which is where he's best, he convinced Niang to tone down the drives and gun up more of his 3s, etc.

Harden definitely helps him get off easier shots, but nah I think you’re giving him too much credit. Maxey has been balling all year, step back 3’s, pushing the pace on offense, etc. I’ll give you the aggression part. He’s more aggressive with Harden, but that’s just of virtue of not having to set the table all the time for everyone else. I saw a lot of games where he started off slow because he wanted to share the sugar and feed Embiid. He wouldn’t start being aggressive until the 3rd a lot of times. They need him to come out hot every game even if his shot is not falling. Sky’s the limit for him man.
