How long did it take Steph to get going after all those injuries earlier in his career. Ja had Grizzlies as a playoff team his second year.A 6'2" guard with a slight frame needs a skrong jump shot. Not saying you gotta be peak Steph....but on the scale of Iverson to Curry, you need to be closer to the Curry side for longevity.
Even Bron at 6'8" 260 lbs had to back off that bull-in-a-chinashop shyt.
If you insist on playing that style, you better get in the weight room and hit the squats, clean & jerk, snatch etc. Throw in some yoga and shyt for flexibility.
His style of play had nothing to do with his current injury. His style of play was bound to catch up to him...all gas no(very little) brake is exciting to watch but hard to maintain long term
All jokes aside, should Memphis sell high?
Never played more than 67 games in a season....and that was his rookie year.

No one is untradeable after this weekend.
We have plenty of depth, so there's no point trading him for a couple of rotation players.
If we could trade him for a player that increases our odds of getting out the West, then you do it. If Giannis is trying to come through, then pull the trigger (no pun intended).
That's the bar.
If we could have just got Jimmy, you could keep Ja to be honest. You would be dependent on Jimmy and Trip in the playoffs Ja for tickets and marketing. That's what I mean. Sell high to get someone good. SPJ is nice. Doesn't need to be some superstar.
Scottie P Jr
JJJ
Born in the Dark
A solid replacement for Ja's spot.
