it was a 10k seater and they treated it like a random club appearance.

crowd was filled with people who showed up in camouflage gear. man, they gotta pissed.

I liked made man too.





I think the main knock is that the beats didn't fit him.
He sounded great over them, people were accustomed to him over west coast production (Dre,daz etc) that album has aged incredibly well and is still one of my favourite albums of all time. I went to college with a guy who was in a band (think guns of roses/aerosmith look and style of music) who owned Da Game Is Told and he said it was one of his favourite albums, this was back 02. He was amazed by the project, which I found interesting considering he had no rap interest at all :wow:

album aged well, I agree.

but not because of snoop.

I moreso bang it like a compilation album starring snoop.

Brehs, was there any reason behind the amount of albums they put out in 98 apart from sales dominance? Over that period they could of stretched out each album for 10+ years

i cant for the life of me remember who said it...but i remember someone saying it was the last year of their 80/20 split with Priority, so P was raping them before the negotiations

Master P wanted to strike while the iron was hot. Most of the artists that dropped in 1998 were introduced on Ghetto D which was the biggest No Limit album. Everybody that has a verse on Ghetto D had an ad in the booklet promoting their upcoming albums. I've never seen it done since.
