This thread made me dust off some of my old CDs, and something is driving me crazy. Anyone know who the guy is singing background and doing ad libs during the song "Playa From Around the Way" on the Ice Cream Man album? The booklet says it only features P, Silkk, and Mo B dikk but it's not them. Dude is funnier than hell.

The guy saying “that’s right yall...” at the start? That track is so fire :damn: Mo is too smooth

I still wonder what’s in the vault..

I gotta find the interview where p
Mentions that Tanks Doggs album was done, MAC was working on his third album
And even had a release date, Mia X also finished her third album as well... Wonder if that all will ever get released.

shyt man, first I thought it's KLC but it don't match up. Don't think it's Boz or Craig B. Maybe K-Lou?

Mia X's Sista Stories is actually her fourth project. It was supposed to drop in 2003 with the first single being "Get Crunked Up" produced by and featuring Lil Jon. That song is on YouTube. She had a sampler for it and it featured songs with KRS One and Betty Wright.

Brehs, I never fully appreciated Mystikal in 98 but fukk me, going back and listening to his NL albums and features and now see how some posters in here said they would go to the Mystikal verse on every NL release. Dude might the most original mc I have heard, the dude can really rap :wow:

No Limit's music has aged wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than Cash Money's

I was the biggest Cash Money and Hot Boyz stan in middle school in 1999-2001 but I listen to more No Limit these days

Personally, I always thought No Limit had more variety. They did the rowdy, crunk, soldier songs, but they also had some dope concepts and more introspective heartfelt songs. Also, the more R&B chill type songs. You couldn't get an "I Can Tell" or "I Got The Hook Up" from CMR and that's not really a knock against them.

@OHSNAP!
@M.DOT

who was duffy rich?
Was Fiend close with the twins (kane & abel)? he was all over their second album
You can Duffy in the vid from 1998 in the NL offices (with Snoop, Daz, Mack 10, C, P, Silkk, Boz, Magic etc) I posted earlier in here, the white dude, think he was an A&R for NL/Priority

Fiend was tight with pretty much all NL soldiers! The only NL album in 1998 without a Fiend feature (out of all those 23 or so!) was Full Blooded's! Dude was a workhorse and helped everyone out. He was also all over Shell Shocked and Ghetto D, Fiend deserves tons of credit

idk why full-blooded was dope on features yet terrible on his album.
How was that prime suspects album? they were dope on features too but idk about an entire album of them.
