I wouldn't be surprised if Wild Wayne was signed "officially" with NL, but P owned shares in this show called Phat Phat N All That. We down here use to watch that show faithfully, because it would showcase the lower tier artists on NL and other artists in the city...it was gutta, kinda like the box per say, but had interviews with local artists which were good.

I remember Baby was being interviewed on that show and that nikka was talking mad shyt, that nikka said "man check out my truck, I think he had alligator seats, interior or something, and that nikka said, the insides of my truck alone cost more than most nikkas houses, the paint on my truck alone cost more than what a nikka would see in a year, Lol
Baby was talking mad shyt, that nikka was on one in that interview, and I cannot find that EP for nothing in the world, I looked all over the internet for that interview he did..I wanna say it was around when Still Fly came out...
Classic Baby, man he was going off...

I think Wild Wayne had some pull on the artists that got played on the radio down here, and Uptown Angela. Like any radio/relationship, I think P used them to play his artists, I know he paid the DJs as well. I think Uptown Angela was on the 504 boyz skit or something. P really looked out for the jocks/DJs in major cities, Houston was another one, as well as ATL,

BR was one too, J-tweezy who I think still rock with P had a deal with spinning NL artists down here

Back in the late 90s, 96, 97, 98, and 99 before "programming radio" took over, it wasn't nothing to hear a Kane & Abel song on the radio or a I'm always feel like somebody watching me, etc

I would say Mystikal got the most air play, followed by Silkk, I remember hearing "Just Be Str8 with Me" dayum near everyday on the radio down here, hell "Let Me Hit IT' was on the radio down here in 98, no mix, but it was actually played on the radio, of course without the cursing. The Man Right Chea,
Believe or not, back then, most NL artists on the Top 8 at 8 would be number 1, so it wasn't nothing to hear them on the countdown.

Folks would request NL songs to be played on the radio, especially in the mixes

@OHSNAP! Why did greg street and P fallout? I was talking to greg on Twitter when percy gave him bout it bout it

In 1999, Atlanta rapper Pastor Troy made waves with the single “No More Play in GA,” which took aim at Master P and the No Limit camp. When asked about the beef, P makes it clear that it was nothing ever personal on his part. “I don’t know Pastor Troy, I never met him,” the Calliope rep claims. “Greg Street called me for the radio and said, ‘Look P, blah blah blah wanna sit down and talk to you, and wave the white flag.’ I said, ‘I don’t know nothing about that, I don’t know nothing about the man. You make records, you gotta know what you’re dealing with.’ So he said, ‘What can we do about it?’ I said, ‘Just walk on the other side of the street [when] you see me.’ I’m not looking for you or nothing, that ain’t me, I’m a man of God. Two mountains may not meet, but two men will, you gotta know what you’re doing. And C [Murder] went to a concert he had and it went bad. I think C probably got the wrong dude, the dude he thought was him. I said, ‘C, it could’ve got real,’ and all the other dudes around him, Hot Boy or whoever, it was like, ‘What’s up with this dude?’ I said, ‘Man, that dude a rapper, let him be a rapper.’ I never beefed on records. I never rapped about nobody.”

9 gems from Master P’s "Drink Champs" episode

Lmao P such a bullshytter, trying to play the bigger man card. NL went after PT and Pimp C personally to let em know how they feel bout them trying to bring down NL/P in 99. He also blackballed C-Bo, Rap-A-Lot, CMR and various former soldiers (Magic, Big Ed, BBTP...) at various points. P was a political animal, and very emotional dude
