No,honestly the city was going for both camps but everybody had they favorites
It was a lot of debates though.
From personal experience it depends on where/ who you grew up around or with
I liked mystikal mac magic mia x fiend and c because I knew or was around them growing up

Former No Limit Records rapper Andrew "Skull Duggery" Jordan will be serving six years in prison for possession of child pornography, guns and drugs.

Jordan was arrested after his Baton Rouge, La., home was raided on September 25, 2009, and police found several movies and pictures depicting sexual abuse and rape of children on the 40-year-old's computer, along with a .40-caliber handgun, a .223-caliber rifle and marijuana.

im not from down there, but i never heard of the hate.
most of the people i see throwing shade on no limit are bitter.

i'd imagine that CMR was favored more in the hometown seeing how they were homegrown, and their sound was more home-base.
but even with that, i remember hearing the no limit had more of the older fans and cash money had more of the younger ones.
