All jokes aside, it has to be ether to have some annoying ass Irish dude talk shyt about how you're not on his level and get under your skin for a year, then break records with how fast he knocked you out and took your belt. And knowing they're not trying to give you a rematch 
I think what will happen is they will give Aldo a low ranked dude like Siver or Bermudez to destroy to build his brand back up. Then he will get a title shot. I mean GSP got caught. Cain got caught. shyt happens.

Simple fact is womens division they dont care. Ronda is the only marketable star that will get casuals to watch and can headline PPV with Holly. Most people thought Silva first lost was a pure fluke due to him

I said I could potentially see the gray area with him telling Aldo to spit shine his shoes, though I interpreted that to be racist.
I said I could not see any gray area in terms of insults about European imperialism to an Afro-Brazilian. I feel one needs to go out of their way to not see "If this were a different time, I would come into your favela on horseback and kill everyone not fit to work" as racist considering the historical context of that being rather accurate.
I can't agree with that under these circumstances. There was like 6 combined punches thrown. Aldo defended the title more than that. How does he NOT get an immediate rematch? How does someone Aldo already beat jump him? No need to build him up off a flash KO, IMO.

The Weidman/Rockhold fight, go and pick it apart......same with the Romero/Souza fight, but the level of detail that people are trying to dissect in a 13-fukking-second KO is crazzzzzzzy

there's other fighters waiting for a shot you can't just ignore Frankie Edgar who is a previous title holder in another weight class and IMO is deserving of a shot and there are others who deserve a go before Aldo gets a 3rd go at it. it's his own fault he fukked up the first one.

I think they'll give Connor his first title defense and then give Aldo a tune up or two. If he destroys some contenders then a rematch is inevitable. I think if he fights Conor again immediately he might be tight and in his head.
Dude held the belt for a decade, so he deserves to decompress from all this before jumping back into the circus.
