I always hear that you have to attend a hockey game in order to truly appreciate the speed & the intricacies of the game. How true is that? Maybe I'll grab some playoff tickets .

It helps alot, great, great live sport

and very minimal ref fukkery, really none at all .... and very little break time out (no fouls, timeouts, etc)

obviously also helps that the Hawks are ridiculously good/successful

BTW, if the Eastern Conference finals is in fact Hawks vs Cavs, I'm delivering ether to whomever the losing fanbase is. I really can't be mad after the way the Bulls shyt the bed tonight, but fukk that .

As a chicago sports fan, it's time to tone down any expectations for anything for some years

I really wanted my kids to experience the feeling of their favorite team winning it all. I was there for all 6 bulls titles and the white Sox world series. The feeling for a sports fan is like no other.

The bears are likely only winning 4-6 games next season and the bulls just blew the best shot they may ever have to win it all. With no ability to make trades, or no guts to make trades and only a Mle to add a player, ain't much changing so unless we find a helluva coach, we likely take a step back next season, cleveland will be a power house next year Washington will be better, etc this was our year. we blew it.

Cubs about to feast too... I'm ChiSox all day, but can recognize a great team coming together there

I think the Bears surprise people next year, added alot to the defensive side along with a Top notch D Coordinator... And the offense has as much talent as we did Trestmans 1st year when we were top 5 in the league

From what im gathering, there is no synergy between the coach and the front office...

I think both sides are done with each other and that team has reached its peak..
