You get it! Thibs was sending shots to them by not giving these young guys proper minutes. He was the defensive coach on that 08 Celtics champion team, so he knows you need seasoned vets to really contend. I'm talking about vets who can hit their shots and handle their defensive assignments, which Dunleavy nor Hinrich were able to do anymore.
It was clear all season that it was a clash of philosophy. Out the gate from Training camp thibs threw the 1st shot with the "contenders don't play rookies" comment. And it was clear garpax like always wanted to copy off the next franchise paper in how to build they team up. At 1st they were copying off the Detroit Pistons paper, now they copying off the spurs. It was clear thibs did not like the make up of the team. And it's clear now judging this performance, that the players grew tired of thibs somewhere In the season and all those losses we thought were the bulls playing down to competition and losing to bums, we're the players giving themselves they own break.
Thibs is not without fault here. I do think equally gar pax and they never want to do shyt policy stinks and it should cost them they jobs as well, but thibs was also dealt a hand and he needed to play it right. Felt like years before regardless of the roster thibs figured it out and did enough to at least get the most for the regular season, this season it felt like the players were fed up and they refused to kill themselves regardless of what thibs wanted.
I listen to bum ass rip on nbatv and to be honest he throws a lot of shots at thibs and at how thibs handle the roster. It is much evidence that thibs was likely killing the guys in practice and didn't do enough to teach offense. This might have made the players rebel.
I still feel gar forman needs to fall with thibs
