Thibs was special before the entire league copied his defensive schemes

We dont even play Thibs D better than the fukking Bucks now

Thats why him leaving wont kill me like it once would have ... its not like we're losing out on an elite defense, any team can implement that now
It's a veteran team, they don't need a disciplinarian type in here.

They need a cerebral guy that can maximize the roster and implement an efficient offense.

Thibs only stressed execution, but when teams threw unconventional lineups on the floor he never adjusted. When teams defend the offense a certain way that's stopping it... He has no back up plan, he'll just say... Execute

You get it! Thibs was sending shots to them by not giving these young guys proper minutes. He was the defensive coach on that 08 Celtics champion team, so he knows you need seasoned vets to really contend. I'm talking about vets who can hit their shots and handle their defensive assignments, which Dunleavy nor Hinrich were able to do anymore.
It was clear all season that it was a clash of philosophy. Out the gate from Training camp thibs threw the 1st shot with the "contenders don't play rookies" comment. And it was clear garpax like always wanted to copy off the next franchise paper in how to build they team up. At 1st they were copying off the Detroit Pistons paper, now they copying off the spurs. It was clear thibs did not like the make up of the team. And it's clear now judging this performance, that the players grew tired of thibs somewhere In the season and all those losses we thought were the bulls playing down to competition and losing to bums, we're the players giving themselves they own break.

Thibs is not without fault here. I do think equally gar pax and they never want to do shyt policy stinks and it should cost them they jobs as well, but thibs was also dealt a hand and he needed to play it right. Felt like years before regardless of the roster thibs figured it out and did enough to at least get the most for the regular season, this season it felt like the players were fed up and they refused to kill themselves regardless of what thibs wanted.

I listen to bum ass rip on nbatv and to be honest he throws a lot of shots at thibs and at how thibs handle the roster. It is much evidence that thibs was likely killing the guys in practice and didn't do enough to teach offense. This might have made the players rebel.

I still feel gar forman needs to fall with thibs

Hes simple and stubborn, yeah

Im wondering if maybe a lot of players are like :blessed: now that hes gone ... they need to nail this new coach hire though, we need to find a coach that can make Derrick more engaged

Any reason we shouldnt clean house altogether?

Why not GarPax too?
They had a mvp caliber player here who suffered acl and meniscus tear and they failed to provide the kind of roster that would prolong rose career and another all star caliber player Although jimmy grew to be one.

This season took the cake tho. Before garpax had the "best record in the league" to hang his hat on to not make moves. This season we looked like crap for many instances and def showed signs of a team that needed some new blood on the floor to spark the team.

The 3 guys who killed us from the cavs, are the 3 guys they traded for. That can't be overstated enough.

Now we're talking  - I shutter to think what this team would've looked like had Jimmy not taken such a historical leap in improvement. With the personnel that they bought in this past off-season, the defense was bound to take a hit. Thib's is/was a damn good defensive coach - not a damn miracle worker on that end :smh:.

They're completely too laxed in their position, and their "moves" reflects it.

I wish ya'll could take some solace in the Blackhawks' greatness

I know @red222 & @nefarious do

that is a team that knows how to deliver year in & year out

I always hear that you have to attend a hockey game in order to truly appreciate the speed & the intricacies of the game. How true is that? Maybe I'll grab some playoff tickets :birdman:.

Wouldn't sell noah high, when they know he ain't got knees. Now we likely can't get anything for him

Draft snell over plumlee, deing and Tim Hardaway jr.

Trade 2 picks for mcdermott, lol

Get on the plane and recruit old ass rip Hamilton when Jamal Crawford is who you really need

Let asik walk for no compensation

Dump korver for nothing. Goes to another team and becomes a all star.

Get nothing of real value for deng. Barnes and a pick or monta would look great on our squad.

Goes into 2011 with rose as our only shot creator. Didn't have the for sight to see how easily that would be exposed.

Give kirk hinrich the kobe deal lol

Team lacked wing depth, front office goes out and spends 13 more million on the front court that already had 20 mill tied into it. 33 million dollar front court that just got outplayed by tristan Thompson and mozgov lol.

So yea, gar pax need to hit the door too.
