I very much agree with you ... here is what I deduct:If you cut through all the bullshyt and tip-toeing it's pretty obvious how shyt went down. Rose jumped ship and was completely done with Thibs. This may have influenced others to do the same to some degree, while all Pau saw (being new to the team and having no history or context) was a squad looking like they didn't want to give everything in themselves to win. Honestly, all that matters is how Jimmy feels about Thibs. Rose is no longer the Bulls best player and centerpiece of the organization, so if he doesn't f*ck with Thibs anymore and Jimmy still does that's too bad for Rose. If Jimmy is genuinely through there's no way you can bring back Thibs under ANY circumstance.
Rose turned on the idea of Thibs, bringing Swanson onto the staff to insulate himself. She/he probably got Taj/Noah on board with their feelings. Would explain Rose's lack of fire this year, probably just wanted to stay healthly, and then get focused for a Thibsless future.
Jimmy was probably somewhere in the middle, just concentrating on playing ball and earning his contract.
Pau signed here to a mirage of a team and likely regrets it. He signed up for everything this team used to be, and not what it was this year. Last night wasnt the first time he said something about guys not be locked in ... Im guessing he stayed loyal to Thibs, and was amicable with all the players because hes just such a stand up dude. I wouldnt be shocked if he & his agent put in a lowkey trade request, because this is not what he signed up for.
From what I have read/heard, I strongly believe Rose is over Thibs, and whatever he says publicly doesnt mean shyt.
Who knows though for sure ... we need someone to break open these stories.
