I honestly haven’t played it but bought it for one of my children. My kid, critics, the developers themselves as well as the video you posted would tell you it’s different than your traditional Pokémon mainline games we’re used to but not in a bad way. Simply, very different.
That being said, Pokémon Let’s Go is a very very simplified, I almost wanna say… toddler version of the OG games. I skipped Sword and Shield.. Currently playing Brilliant Diamond which is a great updated version of Diamond version from when we were younger and I’m going to play Violet afterwards.
Last Pokemon I ever played was gold and silver on gameboy color
