Not sure this has been discussed before but something that's interesting is that cause the dock really doesn't do that much (rumors are it just provides output, charging and adds cooling but doesn't have its own processor), the dock will be sold separately for a fairly low price, like maybe $50. So, you can have multiple docks in your house for multiple TVs.
Wife watching Housewives on the living room TV but you still want to play on a big screen rather than a handheld? Have a second dock for the bedroom TV and switch from one dock to the other.
And yes, this system looks infinitely better than the Wii U gamepad. This looks beautiful and sleek while the game pad looked like some Fisher Price budget kids tablet
