Yes, Mario is a dedicated platformer, not some arena 3rd person shooter. You're gonna need that shyt to combat other players or enemies. The movement and mechanics in Mario games are timeless breh. If you could run up walls in Mario games you may as well drop all the other mechanics because getting stars, shines, moons, orbs, whatever, would be instant gratification.

Running up walls indefinitely is a powerup in Mario featured in their 3D World series. It can be done in their open world games as well. Because the way running up walls is set up in Warframe, they can cut you off up to a certain point just by adding a hump.

There is almost no point of running up walls in Warframe because most of the game play wasn't designed for that. They just be adding random shyt after player feedback to stay relevant. I can tell a lot of shyt was added way after the fact cause you can get stuck in places sometimes. Got stuck in a fukking ditch for a good 3 minutes yesterday. Amazingly the person I was squadded up with actually waited for me to get out instead of continuing on.

I don't get why this game is popular. I would feel that moving in such a frantic manner in 3rd person perspective would be awkward as fukk. (hard to aim, hard to orient yourself)
This guy is pretty good. I'm only just now watching it and he's doing excellent with parkour and aim glide.

Remember I compared it to Sonic right. To be specific, Sonic Adventure era Sonic and Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 for Xbox type movement. If you have great spatial awareness and reflexes like I do then you will feel right at home with Warfrane.

You can play this game as lazy and tanky if you want to but if you want to be as agile and fast as possible you can learn how with what you already have unlocked. If you think that vid wasn't that fast then know that you can put mods on your Warframe to make you even faster.

Speaking of Sonic the Hedgehog, the aim glide Mechanic in Warframe is comparable to knuckles.

You fly farther and you slow down so that you can get your bearings.

You can hit aim glide even if you only have a sword equipped.

Techniques you can do once you get enough practice is instead of holding the button so long you tap it to change direction in mid air like even 90 degree turns and shyt.

This is Spiderman level shyt.

The game ain't going too fast if you use aim glide right.

Even short hops of aim glide is useful. You don't have to jump high to make use of it.

For pvp battles the usage should be tailored who your playing against

However for AI enemies, the enemy's targeting is hampered/slowed down when your in aim glide to simulate the feeling of you being in slo-mo. So while they are still moving around they aren't making their shots or able to hit you.

This game's controls are so deep :wow:

I need to practice performing more than one sword slash in the air through tapping the glide button when I get home. I think I did it last night and wanna try again.

I feel more like a super ninja than any other game ever did.

Metroid Prime 4 update

Bad news: The game they had according to Nintendo looked like garbo and has basically restarted development. So it's gonna be a long ass time till we see this game.

Good news: The game is now being developed by Retro Studios (who has done nothing since DK:TF on Wii U apparently:dwillhuh:).
