I said it before and I’ll say it again. I can’t believe how pleased I am with this system. It hasn’t been a full month but the variety of games and the number of games me and my child can play together makes this an incredible value. I wish I had known sooner. I completely wrote off Nintendo after the Wii.

The Nintendo Switch Digital limitations are fukking weird. Had I known it was so rigid that it restricts the game to literally only ONE profile on the actual switch itself, I'd have never copped a game digitally on this shyt.
Why can't every profile on the switch just play the fukking games? Are they that worried about sharing downloaded games?

You can actually game share with another Switch like on Xbox One but like Xbox One, it's a hassle to set up

I have two profiles on our switch - one for me and one for my kids.
I purchased PunchOut(The classic Nintendo game) and Super Mario Bros U. Deluxe.
I was very upset when it only gave my account the "permission".

ALSO: If you purchase a bunch of digital games on a switch...and you lose that switch...can you ever get those games redownloaded?

Do you have your kids account set to be a kids account? Idk I just opened Smash on every profile on my Switch just fine
Games are tied to your account so if you lose your Switch, you'll be good as long as you have the login details for your account. The online sub is the only way you'll be able to back up saves though, which sucks but it is what it is

On the other hand, the Switch has gone back to $399 over here and still aren't in stock except at our GameStop. The wait continues.
If you buy one you don't have to worry about buying any games for it because the free games on it are addictive, popular and don't require a subscription to play online. I haven't bought a game in months cause of Warframe and there's also other free games like Fornite.Mane I really want one of these but Im broke boi staus lately
Yeah that's an easy fix. I have a dozen games downloaded and 2 kids profiles. I've never had any issues playing a game on theirs.
