of course mario galaxy 2 felt similar to the first game, it was a direct sequal made with the same game mechanics. however, the level design in part 2 was waaaaaaay better than the first.

in regards to metroid prime, i have the trilogy on wii and it goes 2>3>>>>>>>>1. the second two were so much better than the first its not even funny. you cant seriously think prime 1 is better than prime 3.

the console/handheld hybrid is definitely happening. they are already merging the console and handheld departments so there is more crossover.

as far as wii-u, even if it flops, it will still live out its game cycle of whatever amount of years before we see anything new on the horizon. even if the wii-u does gamecube numbers, the gamecube was a good system for those that had it.

people saying nintendo is gonna be sega status gotta chill, the wii-u has only been out for 3 months and has already sold 1/3 of dreamcasts total sales.
It was not a sequel, it was a retelling, basically a remake, it had the exact same story and played like the first never happen:shaq2:

Sorry breh, but prime 1 was my favorite and also stayed the truest to to the classic metroid games. Prime 3 was slow until you get to the pirate home world which took a damn long time

I'll wait till E3 to see what's coming. I'm thinking about getting back into gaming heavy so copping all three new consoles is tempting.

Ok, I was meaning it was a sequel as in 1 and then 2. yeah the story was the same, so what? its Mario. The story is almost always the same. Bowser kidnaps Peach and Mario rescues her. Thats basically it. Realtalk, if every Mario followed the story directly from the previous one then Bowser should have died a long time ago. But if you play Galaxy 1 and 2, there is a clear improvement in the gameplay, and thats saying alot because the first one was already very good, but the second just had better levels.

And Metroid Prime 1 was good, but it was much more restrictive compared to 2 and 3. And if you like it cause it was more true to the classic Metroid games then why are you always complaining Nintendo never do anything new and always rehash the same shyt? clearly you like the old shyt.

And Other M was even truer but that doesn't mean better. Prime 3 was dope son.

wii u is pathetic, you can only con people once this generation, everyone got conned wanting a wii because of the motion sensor how cool wii sports looked etc. and then for the past few years everyone's wii been collecting dust somewhere.

even when ps4 n 360 come out, the majority of parents would rather buy a 360 or ps3 than a wii u for their kid

I just wished they tried expreimenting with first party games. At least try to create new franchises instead of relying on the sae 5 ones every generation

They never launch with any good titles, always making us wait for that shyt. I hate it so much, launch with a good zelda, a good mario kart, and a SMB4 I guarantee sales would have been crazy, give the people what they want, damn why is it so hard?

i didnt like that dark world aspect of metroid prime 2, the first game blew me away, and i still havent played the third game yet

Hit the nail right on the head right here, this is exactly why I liked the first over the second prime.

I didn't feel like it was restrictive at all, non of them were actually

Is stayed true to the classic but it wasn't a fukking side scroller that resembled super metroid with 3d graphics like most Nintendo games not named Mario or Zelda.

Maybe you mis read my post breh, I said Mario galaxy was a highlight, what's your point in bringing it up? My arguement is not with that game:leostare:

They added way too much for me to call it a remake..only thing the same was the style of the game...either way the game was great...

Im not denying that is a good game, but honestly do you think the time and money spent on it was the same as a new Mario or Zelda game?

Nintendo has enough classic series to put out ground breaking galaxy quality titles once a month for years, but it seems like only three of those series gets the special treatment, everything else they make is nostalgia inducing, remixes of their old games.

If they quit putting their money into bullshyt then they would have the resources to create a real 3d donkey kong game the same quality of donkey kong 64.

They also should be able to give all their games that Mario and Zelda treatment

Yea I feel u...but thing is I like this last Donkey Kong better than DK 64..lol...I know they spent more time on that then them fake ass Mario World games they drop every year...Returns was the first time they actually went back to DK since 64 so I didn't mind it...and with all that work they put into them Zelda's they still ain't make a great one since Wind Waker...all they been doing the last few Zelda's was tryna remake Ocarina of Time..

I feel you breh, I'm not arguing the quality of those games, just the lack of effort
