nikka this isn't 1996 anymore
Nintendo and quality does not belong in the same sentence
Sony and Microsoft have both been putting out better quality products for two, soon to be three generations straight
And the ps3 was not overpriced, expensive, yes, but how the hell can a system that cost 900$ to make and sold for 600$ be overpriced? Besides that was 7 years ago.
Nintendo began creating gimicky, casual friendly bullshyt, that catered to people that had no interest in video games in the first place and that's why they are failing, this is what happens w hen you abandon your fan base in favor of nikkas that want simple cellphone quality, shovelware games.
I said this in another thread, ps2 dominated cause it had no real competition, Xbox and GameCube both sold under 30 million when the ps2 dominated, of course that won't ever happen again cause Microsoft is real competition now, they split the market share damn near right down the middle.
Donkey Kong Country Returns was one of the best games this gen..other than that I agree..lolMario galaxy was great, even tho I feel like The second (while better that the first) was almost the exact Same game.
Metroid prime series was dope even if the first two were a lot better than the third, the wii controls is the only thing that made that game fun, seriously, play the first two with wii controls and tell me I'm wrong.
The last Zelda game was shyt. The one before tried to be a darker oot
Nintendo can make AAA games when they want to but that hardly ever happens.
They rather make new super Mario bros 15 and a bunch of rehashed remakes of their old games ( Kirby, donkey kong country, punch out, etc.)
How come we can't get a real game from those series, shyt donkey kong 64 Is the last time they actually gave a damn about that character.
LOL People are happy Nintendo is flopping while being happy for paying overpriced Sony products and malfunctioning M$ products. First industry where quality is destroyed because of brand loyalty.
You and I are thinking along the same lines. Nintendo will just have to convince many to buy into a very expensive "handheld" that can then be connected to your TV to play your games.nintendo has too many billions in the bank to die because of wii u, however, i do believe that their next console will be a console/handheld hybrid that will even further distance itself from the traditional console business.
most likely, the wii u will simply live on in irrelevance like gamecube. an embarrassment but still profitable with a few big first parties coming out a couple times a year.

Needs more internal storage or dump the 8gb model all together.Haha even with these issues Nintendo is still an extemely wealthy company. So they aren't going anywhere. Honestly the Big N can save this console but they are going to have to work inhouse to make a true AAA title, and drop the price. Even then I expect them to put out another console by 2017.
