Thats what i was thinking, like kirby or mario 3d world, with rhythm sections, two-three player co-op with some DKC staples, like barrels and rhinos’, train carts, etc.

They invited press/content creators to play the game last week. Embargo lifts tomorrow for info of that. I'm personally assuming we will also get a new trailer.

DK '94 is definitely a dope game. It's just that all the DK rumors got people hoping for a 2D or a 3D platformer, and instead, they got more Mario vs. DK.
The guy who has been great at leaking these Directs hinted it was gonna be Mario vs Donkey Kong.
In fact, he’s been 100% on the money two directs in a row. He also called the Mario RPG remake and F-Zero.
