I got hype about this until I realized I have a Raspberry Pi 3 sitting here next to me for exactly this

The biggest problem with this is the fact if anyone has a Wii (which go for $30 these days) can softmod it, add emulators to it, then play with the Wii-mote thus making this very cool idea rubbish
Wii-ware even has new and improved versions of older classics like Gradius, Blaster Master, mo'shyt (Tru Story)

You do NOT need a PC. You will need to put a file onto an SD card, and that can be done either via PC or possibly via your mobile device?
Long story short, all you need to do is google "softmod wii" and you will see turtorials/etc. Basically you put some files on an SD card, put it into your wii
Then you go to your saved games section and open a file.. it does all the work for you from that point. Extremely easy...
