Crazy how Super went from that to this.

I don't think Toei wanted to allocate money to DBS before it started really popping. Which to me is pretty stupid because the DB franchise is about a sure a shot as it gets in anime. I think it put them in a hole reputation-wise.

Yeah but that was for one episode. The whole series apart from that has been average at best. Android 18 looks Anytime she's on screen. The dips in quality are unacceptable. Not to mention all of the reused scenes.
