He told her when he was on the couch..he told her he is the one who gave him the alcohol. He told her if he didnt know if he did it on purpose though

That’s the part that I either missed or they screwed up. I can’t remember him mentioning it to her before she asked him to elaborate.

I also don’t know why all off a sudden he just started hitting the bottle so hard? Even while slumming at the carnival he didn’t get twisted.

He told her when he was first in her office..he said he didnt know if he gave pete the wrong alcohol on purpose or not.

Movie was pretty decent. Good acting. Keeps you watching but not sure if everyone will like the 3rd act.

Definition of mid. Loved the noir feel, it was beautifully shot and the actors all nailed their roles but the script and characters themselves did nothing for me.

I was dying when Stan hit the bodyguard in reverse, then drove back over his body to make sure he died while Molly was horrified in the front seat. Stan breaking the car windows afterwards to make it look like a stolen vehicle and acting like nothing was wrong broke me.

Liked how he aint say anything for the 1st part of the film, then slowly started talking, made his grift that much better.

My man Stan was grifting the whole movie. Grifted his girl into thinking she'd be the star if they bounced only for her to be the sidepiece of the show

I thought she was actually gonna set him up for playing her like that, thats why she was on the phone. I didn't see the point of them bringing the circus folks to the hotel just to have her read his cards shyt was unnecessary coulda been cut.

And yall are right I didn't give af bout any of these characters nothing drew me in to them.
Kinda wanna rewatch to pick up stuff I missed but I missed it for a reason cause I started drifting off

Watched it last nite. It was cool 7.5 - 8/10. Very stylized which was cool and the theme was very cool. The story was more like a metaphor for types of people and archyypes not actual three dimensional real life people. Seemed like Stan knew his fate from the beginning of the movie and was determined to reach it despite many warnings and common sense he could have followed to stop it. Maybe he felt that's what he deserved.
