saban is still 1a, jimbo is 1b right now. i can confirm thru my source that there was communication btw saban and texas up until christmas eve. the only deterrent right now is mack brown. mack was given the special assistant position to the president, saban wants that cord cut. mack in turn does not want saban due to him and sexton going behind his back and flirting with the regents the past year. i don't know the situation at fsu exactly but i've heard jimbo has not had the best relationship with the administration and the school is short on cash. maybe the fsu brehs can expand on it.

Thought this was just a ploy by jimmy sexton but this makes sense to me and Fisher hasn't signed his contract ext yet so clearly he's interested.
