The two that easily came to mind but have already been mentioned are Herman Moore and Jimmy Smith.

Moore with the Lions and Cris Carter with the Vikings, used to take turns running roughshod over Bears DBs in the mid-late 90s.

Receiving stats was different back then. Getting 1000 yards was rare. The passing game was more difficult in the early 2000s.
Nah youre overexaggerating. Cats was putting up monster numbers from 94-96. Rice, Carter, Sterling Sharpe, Michael Irvin, Herman Moorw etc Issac Bruce..Early 2000s Moss, TO, Marvin, Bruce, ****, Jimmy Smith, Chad Johnson, Hines Ward, Keyshawn etc. Terry Glenn caught 90 balls as a rookie in 96..Antonio Freeman had a.three yr stretch of dominance. I could go on..the 90's and 2000's were not the 1970's

No it was not rare to get a 1000 yds. It was more of a milestone but it wasnt rare..dudes like Marcus Robinson and Germane Crowell were getting a 1000. So was Marty Booker despite shytty Qbing. So waa Derrick Alexander, so.was Qadry Ismail..this is off the dome, not Googling.
