IR splinters the black community, drives self hate, and the like, so it does harm poor blacks. Look at LA with all its mixed breed people: blacks are worse off there than anywhere else. For most of black American history, we had very little IR compared to the rest of the Western world. That is how we have survived. The cacs were right when they outlawed miscegenation with blacks. Latin American countries do not enjoy the same level of institutional security as America. Even if they voted in elections, there is no garuntee they would be properly accounted for outside of Brazil. And in Brazil, there is the exact same racial heirarchy as America despite mass mixing. However, there is less of a strong identity for Blacks which was formed during Jim Crow.

You don't know what you're talking about. Black identity could go away as much as it did in other regions and countries. While Ferguson is an issue in terms of poverty, it's not as important an issue as the immediate survival of black people, which is what IR threatens. Central and South America imported more blacks than the USA and the Carribean, yet blacks have all but disappeared in the other parts of the Americas.

Blacks live and thrive in the USA and Carribean, where mass IR either didn't happen due to numbers (i.e. Carribean) or policy (i.e. the USA). If you take away the USA and the Carribean, blacks don't even really exist in the Americas. This is proof enough that IR hurts black people.

There has been a consistent decline in black population in LA (and California as a whole). Black population in California today approaches Canada levels. Blacks accordingly are leaving LA and going to regions like the South because they are worse off in LA than the Deep South.

Only in America are the white and black races mostly intact and (more) pure. In other parts of the Americas, things are radically different. Black Americans are richer, healthier, more educated and more numerous than any other black people whom live in Western white Americas society.
