He's a team driver
I did some research. Team drivers get paid less per a mile than solo drivers. Sounds like bs on his part that he makes 600 more than you a week as a rookie team driver. Although, from my understanding, team drivers get paid both for their miles and the miles their partner drives? Even if that's the case, he would have to clock probably twice as much miles as you are to get that much more per week since he's getting less per mile

I'm a school bus driver with my B CDL.

I make sh!T not going lie, but while the kids are in school. I'm finishing up my Associates. I am on my last semester !

Anywho if y'all trying to get your CDL game up there's a CDL school called Redhook on the road in Brooklyn and it's FREE!

I live in Toronto where th avg price is a million dollars

Try again breh

Like I been saying you gotta look at the context. If you got student loans, high rent prices, and desire to move up 4-5k a month after taxes isn't balling. Maybe up in Canada it is but down here its not. The guy I work for bills insurance companies 135 per client visit and I only get to see 35% of that. When all he has on me is two more years of education and the license from the state. You can get a factory job for 15 an hour a supervisor job for 25 but with a degree you want a lot more.

Team drivers make more since they can rotate and avoid the mandatory downtime a single driver would have to take
They cover more miles with less downtime
Plus depending on the type of freight and where they deliver, some drivers earn more as well
