Driving long distances, alone, is already boring enough.

Then to do that shyt everyday, driving that big ass shyt through random cities, sleeping in my truck/ghetto ass motels, etc...

Like I said again the the the coli

1,500 a week before taxes is 40 a hour

78,000 a year before taxes

Only on th coli is this ain't anything and there's a billion jobs out there paying that

1,500 after taxes is like 53 bucks a hour which is 103,000 a year

Your basing your cost of living on a wide figure salary as nothing

The coli ladies and gentlemen

Like I been saying you gotta look at the context. If you got student loans, high rent prices, and desire to move up 4-5k a month after taxes isn't balling. Maybe up in Canada it is but down here its not. The guy I work for bills insurance companies 135 per client visit and I only get to see 35% of that. When all he has on me is two more years of education and the license from the state. You can get a factory job for 15 an hour a supervisor job for 25 but with a degree you want a lot more.

Breh, these mega companies are literally hiring like 200 drivers a week.

A company may hold orientation twice a week, each orientation has around 20 people.

And they hold orientation in dozens of cities across the country. And thats just one company
How is working for swift?

I hear they companies give the newbies the sh!tty trucks

Your like a psychiatrist?

What do you exactly do?

No I dont have a license I'm just a "counselor" at the moment. You need at least a masters and a license for that but I'm working for someone who does. I just meet with people who have mental problems and ask how things are going. I'm kinda like a nurse if you got bigger problems I can't help you with the licensed therapist steps in but 9 outta 10 times I don't need him

I hope y'all getting y'all education up and shyt. Driving jobs are the first thing getting automated.

basically. earn your money now and STACK. cause truck driving is not a long term career move.
and if there are more truck drivers now then ever......then that's even more reason to automate it
Look how much technology has advanced just in our lifetimes, arguing against it makes you look retarded

How an automatic trucc gone know when to switch lanes? When to slow down cuz its too windy? When to avoid a pothole that might damage the truck? Deers?

Its too many things, im not saying it wont happen one day, but i seriously doubt it'll be in our lifetime where the majority of the trucks are automated.
