Man I miss the graffiti. Seeing a whole train covered inside and out was so cool to me as a kid.

School trips with every male kid staring out the window once you hit Times Square. :wow:

I never got to see what was inside. :mjcry:

I think NYC is stil really great and has a lot of charm, but when you see old pics and movies (pre 9/11), there's something about it that looks really cool. More "free" I guess.

I might make a thread out of my NYC related photography in the coming weeks. I'm just gonna take pictures of street scenes in different neighborhoods.

The internet's (IMO negative) effect on modern society can't be overstated. I feel like it's allowed a certain degree of misanthropy to fester with the disruption of culture and communication.

Personally, I find NYC uninspiring. But it's easy to see how exciting it could be in a different time. Actually, it's easy to see how it could be exciting now, but Millennials (I'm one) and newer generations aren't that fun.
