Yeah, Jones is definitely locked in her way of thinking. Every action she has taken has been fixated on one way of thinking and one goal. She wouldn't be able to justify her actions if she didn't have the hope of time travel being the reset button for everything. As far as the cure thing, there is the possibility of mutation like she mentioned although dude she shot said the cure will cover the mutation.

The opposing viewpoints is something the show has done well lately, as opposed to Cole going back in time to stop one thing only to have something else pop up. I do hope they delve more into the 12 Monkeys before the season is over as well.

Things are starting to heat up, as the season draws to a close.

Jennifer Goimes in the future looking like Raiden :skip:and dropping hints of events to come.

Elena and Max both catching bullets.

Ramse going back into the past to save his son. Cole returning there as well to stop him. RIght now there conflict is the most interesting part of the show for me.

Aaron seems like he's agreed to do something stupid to protect Cassie.

I'm surprised to see that they've made me understand (and almost agree with) why someone would want to prevent the plague from being stopped in the past. From the point of view of the people in the far future, if you change the past you basically erase everyone born after the plague.

This show is definitely a mind-bender. Ramse was getting the shyt kicked out of him in jail.
"I just killed you without lifting a finger." :wow:. Him being the Witness and the relationship with the creepy Olivia was intriguing. I know what to know who Olivia's father was.

The show keeps raising questions, wonder how many they will answer in the last couple of episodes.

This show continues to get better as it approaches the season finale. Questions are being answered while new ones are popping up. Those grey men at the end there ready to take the facility :ohhh:

I'm guessing they're from even further in the future, trying to prevent the timeline from getting more messed up than it already is.

Well, the season is over now and a lot went down in the future.

Cole and Ramse are both alive in 2015

Cassie got sent to the future with Dr. Jones and the army of 12

Aaron is most likely dead...

Jennifer is as bonkers as ever and taking a mysterious flight.

Overall I would say the series turned out better than I thought it would initially. All of the time travel stuff leaves me :mindblown: a lot of the times, but they have crafted enough interesting characters and ideas that I will stick with it for season 2.

The time travels "rules" are pretty confusing on this show. They've already shown that it is possible to create alternate futures, so you know the future can be changed (unlike in the movie). Yet, they mentioned that the time travel machines could not have been created without time travel, so somehow some things are going to happen no matter what.

As soon as they showed that the original source of the virus was a skeleton, I was pretty sure that in the end it is going to turn out that the plague was started by a plague carrier from the future getting sent way back into the past and getting frozen in ice. But that would make the whole show a giant time loop. I'm not sure how they combine that with a "changable" timeline.

EDIT: And another thing...
Cole is immune to the plague, but the plague IS still active in the future. Shouldn't there be plague virus all over him? He should be like Typhoid Mary to the people of 2014.

^^Maybe the splintering he does or the injections he takes rids him of having any virus on him. Not sure really though.

Brehs do y'all recommend I watch the movie first, if I decide to get into this show?

I would say you don't have to. They share some similar traits, but the show goes off in a different direction than the movie and it might help not having the comparison of the movie to enjoy the show for its own merits.

Is just me or does this show have a bunch of CW actors on it?

It has a couple with both Noah and Berkley from Nikita having roles on the show. It makes sense as the writers behind the show both worked on Nikita.

I also recognize the main blonde chick from being recurring characters on a couple CW shows.
