This show is really good. Binged watched season 1 & 2. Glad I didn't let this one slip by me. It can get confusing at times and sometimes a little redundant, but overall it's very good. Nothing else on TV like this plus the actors are all very good. Very well written and acted.

Season 2 finale was last night, really glad it got renewed for a 3rd season, especially with how things ended.

The reveal of who the witness was, wasn't a total shocker but made a lot of sense w/how things have unfolded.

Jennifer's movie inspirational speech was :russ:

Jones busting her guns while being solo in HQ :ehh:

So a guy that hadn't been born yet caused a massive plague, then nearly destroyed time just so he could be conceived. Besides being born what's his end game?:patrice:

That's the thing w/time travel. He hasn't been born from our viewpoint, but has from his :mindblown:. I expect season 3 to focus more on his exact motivations and plans. The whole concept of living in the red forest, a place where time has no beginning or end comes across as the actions of a childish individual. Someone who doesn't realize that life goes through stages and pain, hurt, loss, death are a part of it. Perhaps when he is born in the future, he loses both Cole and Cassie at an early age and that becomes the driving force of his plans

That's the thing, I think the red forest/destroy time plan is a red herring. He needed Cole and Cassie to try and fail at stopping the paradox to be conceived but needed Cole to go back and succeed in order to be born. The whole thing makes him the product of a timeline that doesn't exist.:mindblown:

The red forest isn't 100% a red herring. Drinking the red leaves makes you get "Unstuck in time", e.g. Unstuck in Time - TV Tropes

The Witness needed two parents who both drank the leaves from the red forest, apparently.

Watched the whole season, I'm just about ready to toss this show in the bushes. Next season is supposed to be the last so I may stick with it to see how it ends, depending on how I feel next year.

Season 3 got tedious at points, but they did a good job bringing it together and setting up for the series finale season
