Let's be honest, the vast majority of PCs can't run modern AAA games at 4k 60fps. You'd need an expensive PC to hit those numbers.
It's kinda crazy that people still expect that kind of performance out of a $500 console.
I remember reading an article saying that less than 5 percent of PC gamers are playing games in 4k. Most seem to be playing in either 1080p or 1440p depending on the fps.
Very few people have PCs hitting 4k and 60fps.

Most PC gamers favor FPS over 4k for competitive edge..theyre playing on monitors not tvs, the home console market is a whole different target audience. Console gaming is more cinematic outside of your select few multiplayer games.
Even if the pro has to consistently upscale games to 4k to keep the target FR it can be done without charging something egregious.

Digital only should come with more storage tbh. I really thought SSDs would be cheaper now to where these consoles need to be coming with 2TB from the factory
It's not just in competitive games, just look it up, 4k 60fps is not standard for even single player AAA games on PC.
You can't expect a cinematic experience in 4k 60fps on a $500 console when $2000 PCs would struggle hitting those numbers.

Im not expecting the pro to be anywhere near $500. More like pandemic prices.
The expanded storage will also factor into the price. A console is a dedicated gaming device, even a gaming rig has other things running simultaneously with the GPU that needs to be accounted for.

If 4k 60fps is really that important you can just build a PC. It's pointless to expect that out of a $500 console.

Sony has a bunch of exclusive games that are released each year, month after month since the launch while Xbox waited for 2 years and half or 3, released two or 3 exclusive games. After Starfield and Forza Motorsport...what are you gonna play?
