They sold it to Nikolodean after the GOAT TMNT 2k series ended with the 3 gen of turtles dimension movie (with comic, OG 80s cartoon, and TMNT 2k series) got millions I think.
Then Nikolodean pimped the hell out of it and made billions while destroying it.

I agree with you that this new art style isn't a good look though. This style isn't a good fit for TMNT at all.

I dont watch any of them period
But I never cared for the way the animations looked after the one from 1987-96
And i forgot about the 2003 version was pretty cool

The 2003 version is the best one.

The 1987 Turtles are mad corny and too childish (Shredder was also useless). The only thing that was really good about the 1987 TMNT was the theme song.
