If he had said this, then there wouldn't be an issue. The problem is that when SAS says things critiquing Black culture, it never sounds live its from a place of love of being Black, but from a place of embarrassment and shame. When you tear down your race and culture in front of another race and culture that has planned and sought out and strategized your destruction since the beginning of recorded history, then yes, its c00ning. Malcolm X went hardbody on white people, Farrakhan still does it to this day. White people will foster and support Black ignorance and try to vilify Black excellence.

I still haven't listen to the podcast and probably won't...But what did SAS say that qualifies as tearing down the community?......No one has quoted or repeated what he said exactly........

He has used terms like, "Black athletes make a lot of money", The NBA being thought of as a "Black league", but the NBA has made great strides to change that. He stated that when the Miami Heat wore the hoodies in honor of Trayvon didn't make a real impact. He's basically calling out all of the new athletes for not taking a stand, which is ironic coming from him. He stated that white folks have been more responsible in facilitating our upward mobility than Blacks have. He's saying that we need to thank white people for allowing us to progress and elevate within their society because we are doing a piss poor job of improving our own selves. But then he says that we capitulate to what we think white people want us to be in order to appease them.

But it sounds like he was repeating what he heard someone say to him about him.

What the hell are you fools talking about? He shouldn't air our laundry to the white audience. Then when should we say it??? Didn't MLK say it on white ass tv and radio? Malcolm? Frederick?

Or should be wait till we have another million man march that DIDN'T CHANGE A fukkING THING. I was there. Didn't change shyt. We killing each other in record numbers. Not taking care of our kids in record numbers. And doing worse than ever in school and poverty and y'all nikkas in here on that house nikka shyt. "Ooooooooo don't be saying that in front of massa"

He was right. fukk it. We need to do for ourselves and stop waiting for white people to stop being racist. It ain't gonna happen. They ain't gonna stop trayvoning us, cops still fukking us up and getting away, they won't stop clutching those purses, calling out president every name in the book. They give no fukks... and as long as all we do is black out some photos. While giving 500k views to fights at ihop on world star.... Then it's gonna continue to be this way in America

And i don't care who says it. Say it in front of all the white people in America. Like they don't already know they run this shyt. I'm sure SAS says this same shyt to black people all the damn time. But what in the fukk is the point of only saying it to ourselves. In the back of field nikka storage barn. Malcolm said it directly to white people. I guess he was a c00n too. Farrakhan says it directly to white america. On CNN and shyt. Guess he just an Uncle Tom. Lets only discuss these things in our own

churches and communities. Cause that's really been working for us all these years right?

Shut the fukk up
Malcolm X and Martin weren't saying these things in front of black audiences?

:what:

You saying "I'm sure SAS says it in front of black folks" is akin to Martin saying these things in front of sanitation workers working with the poor people's campaign and Martin and Farakhan speaking at mosques?

:snoop:

See how the cheapening of discussing black issues has elevated the level of fools like Stephen A "I'm sure he says the same shyt to black people" Smith to today's wanna be smart negro looking for a niqqa to amen corner around to that of those that actually speak in front of black audiences 95% of the time.

Amazing that you actually put SAS shoulder to shoulder with those names!!

Can I ask you why you have an inability to read what I said earlier about me not listening to him in years and speaking more about his ilk cheapening discussions of black culture in front of white audiences for their own advancement?

It's dangerous to consistently cheapen what shapes the lives of people. These corny discussions eventually shape negative policies that effects lives. It strengthens racial biases and actually erodes wanting to aid those in need of help.

He lost those points years ago. Dude is a clown.

I'm not even in the country to hear the clown

I haven't watched First Take since Jalen crushed the buildings. But everytime I see a thread about one of those two idiots doing something outlandish, it makes me realize that their whole shtick is to get people talking about the dumbass shyt they say. Glad I never turned that shyt back on.

Over and out.

Lol.

You just wanna hear yourself talk now my dude.

I'm not getting into your completely wrong thought process here because you can't go back a few pages. You rather be stuck thinking what you wrongly think.

I said the same thing about a salon.com writer.

Who here is putting that much stock in what he says? Just about everyone here has written him off and/or called him a c00n.

He is in a position to reach millions of people and instead of being constructive, he's just co-signing the racist views a lot of white people have and allowing them to be more comfortable in thinking that way. If a "prominent" black man agrees with their views, their racism feels a lot more like honesty. Why can't people think he is a piece of shyt for that?
