Malcom said it to white folks, while also pointing out the wrong done by both white and black folks for the plight of the black community

But the "air our laundry" rants have clearly become an attempt to score points from white folks because these black on-air personalities are safely criticizing those who are powerless. Why didn't he say white folks need to stop mentioning the high crime rate in Chicago because it is not due to their concern for the well being of back male teens, but rather a poor attempt at pointing blame for black-on-black crime solely on those who pull the trigger, and not also

- the gun sellers and manufacturers
- school resource cuts
- millionaire "gangster" rappers, who play up to stereotypes that are supported by white folks
- inconsistent views of "rachet/thug behavior," use the terms to negatively describe a criminal, but then use it as a term of endearment for a president, simply because he's black
uh

Crackers have guns and use em to hunt or protect the house. How can you blame gun sellers

School resource cuts, thats true

Millionaire gansta rappers- that's on us

Stephen A Smith is on point really with his takes on Black people issues. But First Take is not the platform to be giving your 2c on those issues. Those are "in house" issues that should be discussed locally.

As for Skip. It seems like for the most part he "get's it" , as a white man. But the rest of these pink fukks are not Skip Bayless.

We live in an eco-system. It is extremely rare to find "problems/issues" that originated in isolation. Maybe if you talking about genetic/DNA based "problems/issues"

1) How does the guns get to a community that does not house any gun manufacturing plants? mostly from gun sellers, with access to the manufactures, do not always sell from their store fronts. Gun manufacturers are manipulating the political system that affect how guns are regulated, so they have made a conscious effort to have input in the lives of gun and non-gun owners

2) A gangsta rapper that promotes death locally does not have the same impact on the masses(regardless of race) versus a millionaire gangsta rapper
- that is praised in the media that is controlled by white folks,
- that is a millionaire due to the large non-black fans
- that is given equal or more press coverage for their ratchet behavior than a non-ratchet behaving black man, thus conditioning folks, regardless of economic status, to embrace certain types of degenerate behavior, that was once frowned upon

3) School cuts alone does not encourage degenerate behavior. Like any man made disasters, there are a series of events that must go wrong before a disaster occurs

Personal responsibility means nothing if it's not complemented by societal responsibility and vice-versa

I still can't believe cats in here think MLK and Malcolm "occasionally" confronting whites on tv makes them akin to SAS who placates white audiences on a "regular basis."

Only an idiot thinks SAS whose congregation of white viewers is equal to that of MLK. Malcolm , Farakhqn and others that on a regular basis spoke to an audience of blacks who they directly provided a service in repairing their lives.

Stephen A Smith talks black issues on the mark Levin show. Stephen A Smith discusses black issues in the Sean Hannity show. Stephen A Smith talks black issues in First Take. Anyone sees a pattern here? What audience is he serving? :rudy:

Some of you niqqas in here are straight idiots, bottomline, if you cant see the clear difference. Stick to saying "i believe he speaks to blacks" becauae it sure isnt on a routine basis when comparing him to those that actually do and did so on a regular basis

Not even going to watch this shyt.

Most of these celebrities and shyt wouldn't really be down for a true black-empowerment movement...it would force them to take a stand and lose a lot of white support. I remember reading how James Brown lost a LOT of fans and left a LOT of money on the table just for saying "I'm black and I'm proud".

All these dudes, Stephen A, athletes, most of the actors and actresses...they just wanna have a nice home in LA somewhere and go to wine tastings with their white liberal friends.

Skip Bayless is a real nikka. I appreciate the fact that he doesn't pretend to understand our plight, but as a human being he can atleast empathize with us. I really dislike the classic bleeding heart liberals who love to pretend that they're down and TOTALLY understand what we've been through as a a people
