For real. We're 10 years into the "Cosby is right" movement. There's no shortage of corny ass airing of dirty laundry. At what point do folks get past the fascination of that and see how useless it's become besides being in someone amen corner?

Again. I don't know what SAS said....His statements may warrant him being put on blast......But at the end of the day, SAS statements on T.V. does not effect how I handle my life on a daily basis.......Because, quite frankly, I'm not leaning on him for guidance or instruction....He is paid to be a T.V. personality, and making sensationalised statements is his job.....

He was referring to Bryant Gumbel when he said it....The irony is that he bangs his chest and boasts about being an accomplished young black male attending an Ivy league school.......As if being the one or two melanated spots on those esteemed campuses makes him superior to his black contemporaries....

I do. Very much so. But I've realized that wasting bandwith and energy throwing darts at journalists and so called celebs is becoming a waste of time...Blacks have been put in the worst light via the media since Gutenberg dropped the printing press, but despite that, we have made 10 times the social progress in the last 40 years than the 120 years prior to 1965.......
We don't have our own media platform to fire back on and I think that is what's the most fustrating....

I think somebody posted Stephen A preaching in a predominate black church basically preaching this same message. I really dont think it matters what setting he's in. He's just gnna speak how he feels....he has the platform to do it. You can't knock the man on how he thinks we need to improve as a community. I think he is pretty consistent at least w/ how he feels. 
idk i didn't follow him when he was on his pro black militant steeze so i wouldn't know how much he changed. Im not gnna compare him to the greats Malcom X and MLK but they both had a different view and a different philosophy. If he had said this, then there wouldn't be an issue. The problem is that when SAS says things critiquing Black culture, it never sounds live its from a place of love of being Black, but from a place of embarrassment and shame. When you tear down your race and culture in front of another race and culture that has planned and sought out and strategized your destruction since the beginning of recorded history, then yes, its c00ning. Malcolm X went hardbody on white people, Farrakhan still does it to this day. White people will foster and support Black ignorance and try to vilify Black excellence.
