Probably got fired for doing the interview. It’s been known for years that writers don’t really need to know the product. However this is the first time, I can recall, that an active writer did an interview exposing this. Matter of fact, it’s the first interview I’ve heard from an active writer that’s not a wrestler or celebrity. I probably would have fired her too. Seems like the type to have loose lips and leak storylines to her friends

This is very true….but, the writing staff IS made up of mostly outside people that should have fresh perspectives, and has been for years. The problem is they get micromanaged like crazy, and then are writing up until 5 minutes before the show as scripts get torn up by Vince.

If they're hiring stand up comedians now, they probably don't realize it, but they peaked back when they had on staff and fired him in the early 2000's.
